RJ Cutler's documentary, The September Issue, takes the audience into the Condé Nast building for a behind the scenes look at Vogue and the notorious Anna Wintour (Due out this fall). Although the documentary depicts a 2007 Vogue which is quite out of tune with the current state/vibe of the magazine considering the economy, it should be no less entertaining and perhaps even relevant. For those critics who thought The Devil Wears Prada was too gossipy and an ungrateful (albeit mostly fictional) retelling of Andrea's experiences with Vogue and "Miranda Priestly"... Perhaps The September Issue will reveal just how much Ms. Priestly resembles Ms. Wintour. From the preview (below), Anna's office clearly resembles as that depicted in the film version of The Devil Wears Prada. She also comes off as a cold hard bitch. Can't wait!!!
