The fourth winery on our tour was Septima. The name is derived from being the 7th estate acquired by the Codorníu Group from Spain. The acres of vineyards surrounding the estate is beautiful against the Andes backdrop. We tasted a Tempranillo, Malbec, and Cab-Sauv. I purchased a reserve 2007, a 2008 Malbec, and a very interesting sounding Brut Pinot Noir... Can't wait to try.
