As it's name suggests, A Figueira Rubaiyat is a beautiful restaurant built around a gigantic fig tree located in a posh neighbourhood in São Paulo. The fare is largely seafood and meat from the Rubaiyat farms. Apparently the Rubaiyat family own multiple ventures in Spain, Brasil & Argentina! We started with antipasti (which is not complimentary) followed by fish & seafood. I had what was called "Treasure Chest" which contained rock lobster, huge prawns, octopus, squid, cod, and Spanish rice. Delicious meal, on the pricey side. The fig tree is very impressive! A must-see.
