The Men's 2011 Spring collection by John Galliano caught my eye right away. With it's nod to Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times, it manages at the same time to "make a statement about new proportions in menswear, and the Little Tramp's shrunken jacket and baggy pants seemed like a good place to start." (Style.com) Throughout the show, the concept was tight, the flare and dandyism translated really well to the clothes. Most of the time, I chalk Galliano's shows up to pure spectacle, but I really like this collection and can see it on the streets.
