9h

Hotel 9h is a new concept capsule hotel located in Kyoto, Japan. Recently featured on Monocle and Designboom, the hotel designed by Design Studio S features 125 capsules and a streamlined experience that takes you from reception through shower/lockers, lounge, and to the capsules themselves. With a japanese minimalist aesthetic and efficiency as well as graphics to clearly guide you through the process, the capsule hotel has been updated for the urban business person and traveler. Many have remarked about the appropriateness of this type of hotel at airports for layovers, delays, and wait time between transfers. Certainly it makes sense for the traveling businessmen and women, I also wish there was something like this located near every design and architecture school where the students pretty much live at their studios... I, for one, would certainly hit that up! :)
