1810

Thanks to PT's recommendation, 1810 Cocina Regional has become our go-to fall back whenever we wanted something cozy and comfy. The Julian Alvarez location (@ Guatemala) is two-storied, has a little children's play space, an enclosed smoking area for those who need to smoke and eat at the same time, and features the best empanadas we've had so far, warm stews, tamales, cheap wine, and desserts. Their bread with homemade chili salsa is amazing. Our goal is to try all the empanadas and we're not too far off. Faves = humita (corn), sugar coated ham & cheese, sliced steak, and tuna. The tamale is tasty and the pumpkin + chicken casserole is delicious!!! Makes us happy :)
