BRASSERIE PETANQUE

For some good french classics head over to Petanque in the San Telmo neighbourhood (Defensa & Mexico). Amazing french food for unbelievable prices!!! Delicieuse! And good espresso for once! We were greeted with a complimentary aperitif which is always welcome! Between the 5 of us, we had a prawn & artichoke appetizer with tomato marmalade and garlic aioli, tenderloin a la bernaise with potato au gratin, honey glazed salmon on crispy potato, boeuf bourguinon with chickpea flour, and duck a l'orange with grand marnier! Everything was perfect. To finish we had a creme brulée de pistachio and an apple tart tatin. MS had a grappa. Stuffed and satisfied. (Btw, Petanque is similar to Bocce/lawn bowling. Cute!)
