BOBO RESTAURANT

Located in the trendy Bobo Hotel, the restaurant featured in Conde Nast Travel was a pleasant surprise. We dined in the enclosed courtyard at the back and was immediately greeted with a passion fruit & pear aperitif and an amuse-bouche. There were so many things in the amuse-bouche I didn't catch what was in it, but it was delicious. The meal was excellent. I started with an appetizer called 6 Spoons which included 2 x baby squid + sausage Provencal, 2 x red curry scallops with coconut milk, and 2 x Peruvian octopus with coriander mayonnaise. MS had the goat cheese + pesto pate + hazelnut stuffed portobello mushrooms. MS had the salmon and my rib eye steak was really really good and cooked the right kind of rare. It came with a side of potato millefeuille with sausage! We finished off with a passion fruit cheesecake with fresh strawberries and a spiced malbec syrup. Great night! Love 3 hour dinners. ;)
